Roehampton sits in the south-west corner of London, bordered by Richmond Park to the south and Putney Heath to the east. The area has a striking mix of housing, from the large tower blocks of the Alton Estate to the grand Georgian mansions along Roehampton Lane. The tower blocks and their surrounding grounds see rat activity around the bin stores, communal areas and green spaces between the buildings. Fleas turn up in homes with pets and the amount of green space where dogs are walked means they can be picked up easily in the warmer months.
