Kevingtown is a small residential area in the Orpington part of the London Borough of Bromley, tucked between the busier centres of Orpington and Petts Wood. The streets are mainly 1930s and post-war housing with a mix of semis, detached houses and some bungalows, all set on the gently sloping ground between the Cray valley and the higher land towards Chelsfield. The area is long-standing and the gardens are mature, with hedges, fruit trees and garden structures that have been in place for decades. Mice are a regular problem across Kevingtown.
