Maypole is a small community close to the Orpington and Farnborough border in the south of the London Borough of Bromley. It sits along the A21 near the junction with Shire Lane and is mostly made up of family homes from the 1930s through to the 1960s along with some newer builds. The area has a semi-rural feel to it with farmland and green belt close by. That mix of suburban housing and open countryside creates the right conditions for a range of pests.
