Warwick is a historic county town on the River Avon in Warwickshire, dominated by the medieval castle and a town centre packed with timber-framed and Georgian buildings. The age and character of these buildings is part of Warwick's appeal, but it also creates pest challenges. Wasps are common across the whole town during summer, nesting in the roof spaces of everything from the medieval buildings in the centre to the new-builds on the fringes. Squirrel problems come up in the streets near the castle grounds and Priory Park, where the mature trees give grey squirrels a direct route onto nearby rooftops.
