Mount Ephraim is one of the most recognisable parts of Tunbridge Wells, a grand street of tall Victorian and Edwardian buildings running along the ridge above the town centre. The hotels, restaurants and shops along Mount Ephraim face the Common to the west, where open heathland and mature trees stretch towards Rusthall. The buildings themselves are imposing, with deep basements, multiple floors and the kinds of complex roof structures that pests find very inviting.
